Metal for Future Dandelions

Boeing has developed a metal that is 99.99% air: it is light enoght to balance on top of a dandelion.
In 2015, Boeing announced the creation of the lightest metal ever, a microlattice material that the aerospace company describes as air.
It was developed by HRL Laboratories, a joint venture between Boeing and General Motors, in collaboration with Caltech and UC Irvine. The microlattice weighs only about t one-tenth as much as carbon fiber, and is said to be slightly lighter than air itself.
Sound dangerous to have metal floating around. Do we breath it? Does it get into our eyes? Is it like an air born material that could carry disease?
