Matisse's "Le Bateau" was displayed upside down at new Yorks's Museum of Modern Art for 47 DAYS before anyone noticed.
Henri matisse was a French Painter who lived between 1869-1954. He was one of the most famous artists of the 20th century and proponent of Fauvism, amodern art movement of bold and vibrant art. "Le Bateau" is one of his well know works. It is a paper-cut of a blue boat and its reflection that Henri Matisse made in 1953.
Doesn't work upside down!
